Nerta Gioni is a Fashion Art Director and Fashion Photographer from Athens, Greece.
She is a graduate of the University of West Attica’s Department of ”Photography & Audiovisual Arts”. She has also completed the ”Art Direction for Fashion” course at Central Saint Martins, London.
Over the last six years, she worked in house for a fast fashion brand in Athens as both Fashion Art Director and Photographer. She led the creative process behind every collection, from concept development and visual research to casting, location scouting, campaign production, photography, and post production. This experience gave her a deep understanding of fashion image making, from the first idea to the final image. She now works independently as both an art director and photographer.
Her work is guided by a simple, honest approach to photography. She embraces spontaneity and the subtle imperfections that give each frame its character. By keeping editing to a minimum, she preserves the natural feel of her images. She believes the strongest photographs are the ones that feel genuine, timeless, and earned.
She has participated as a photographer in three group exhibitions and has been featured on Photo Vogue.
